Our mission
To raise the quality of educational and research practice in the institutions we work with, in a way that outlasts our involvement — not to become a permanent dependency.
About
An academic advisory practice working across educational development, accreditation, and research, staffed by practising academics.
AL-MUSTASHAROON is a specialist advisory practice in educational, pedagogical, and research services. We work alongside universities, colleges, schools, and research centres through development, accreditation, and quality assurance, and provide researchers with methodological and statistical support on their own work.
What distinguishes the approach is that we do not arrive with a prepared solution. Every engagement opens with a documented diagnosis of the institution as it stands — its systems, its people, its data — and the plan is built on that. When what an institution asks for is not what it needs, we say so before the contract rather than after.
To raise the quality of educational and research practice in the institutions we work with, in a way that outlasts our involvement — not to become a permanent dependency.
Educational institutions that manage their own quality with confidence, and enter external review untroubled because what they present is what they actually do.
We say what we see, even when it narrows the scope of work. An inflated estimate wins a project and loses a relationship.
Every recommendation rests on data gathered by a documented method, open to third-party review.
We train an internal team on every engagement. Our success is that you can continue without us.
We do not write research to be attributed to someone else, and we do not promise an outcome that belongs to another body.
Why AL-MUSTASHAROON
We do not arrive with a prepared answer. We start by reading your reality, then build the plan on what we find.
Every engagement aims at making itself unnecessary. We train an internal team that carries the work past the contract.
We work to internationally recognised accreditation and quality frameworks, documenting each step to withstand review panels.
Our team are practising academics. Recommendations rest on literature and method, not on opinion.
